Dear Dermatology Colleague, We have a busy year of interesting meetings planned for 2011-2012. We will continue to receive CME credit through the Washington Hospital Center. Thanks to Dr. Alan Moshell for helping to secure this sponsorship last year. Of note, only members in good standing (i.e. up to date on dues payments) will receive CME. Planning for The Atlantic Dermatological Conference is underway. We are forming committees for organization of the various components of the meeting. Please contact our administrator, John Garza, if you would like to help organize this conference. The meeting is scheduled for April 12-14, 2013 at The Capital Hilton, Washington, D.C. There have also been some changes to the 2011-12 meeting schedule. Notably, our Friday afternoon DC Derm Day is now planned for November 4, 2011 instead of the mid-winter afternoon of speakers held in prior years. We are also working on adding a members-only section to the website. We would like the website to be more user friendly to our membership. Dr. Benjamin Lockshin, our new secretary-treasurer, is working with our web designer on the implementation of this feature. I look forward to serving as your president this year and welcome suggestions to continue to improve the operations and mission of our society. Warm Regards, |
