Our Mission
Washington D.C. Dermatological Society’s mission is to offer high-quality continuing education opportunities to dermatologists practicing in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The association is committed to helping promote resident, staff and community dermatology education and to improve the overall quality of patient care. Within our membership, there are both established, experienced thought-leaders in the field as well as residents from various local training institutions. Members are offered the opportunity to learn from renowned leaders in the field of dermatology via guest lectures.
About Us
The Washington D.C. Dermatological Society was founded to organize local academic and private practice dermatologists. Annually the society hosts 5-6 CME sponsored events annually as well as an annual resident appreciation dinner and social event. In addition to these events, the society offers scholarship opportunities and research grants to current and aspiring dermatologists.
