Business Meeting Minutes
Resident Appreciation Dinner
Tuesday, March 4, 2014
Dr. Benjamin Lockshin called the meeting to order at 8:28 pm.
I. Minutes from the Saturday, December 7, 2013 WRNMMC meeting were reviewed and approved.
II. Committee Reports
- Advocacy Committee: Please respond to the upcoming call to action and contact your member of congress to repeal the SGR.
- Social Committee: Save the Date for our upcoming Argentina-style BBQ Family event Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Cabin John Park in Rockville, MD. This will be a great event!
- Website Development Committee: The new website is 50% done. Please email Dr. Lockshin with any comments or questions.
III. Old Business
- Mary Maiberger, M.D. and Rishi Patel, M.D. were voted on and approved for membership.
IV. New Business
- New membership applications were presented: Melissa Lynn Abrams, M.D. and Hon Pak, M.D. They will be voted on at the next meeting.
- Remember to register for the Atlantic Derm Meeting in Montreal.
The next meeting will be at Georgetown University Hospital Medical Center in April.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:32 pm.
