Business Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm
I. Committee Reports
A. Advocacy: Dr. Anatelli mentioned that members are receiving a periodic email with the updates from the AAD Advisory Board Committee activities provided by Dr.Kelley Redboard (DC Derm representative) .
B. Update on Atlantic Derm Conference 2020:
a. Dr. Anatelli provided an update of the decisions made in the last months regarding the organization of the Atlantic Derm Conference that will be held at Capital Hilton Hotel on April 24-26, 2020.
b. Dr. Anatelli announced that Dr. Samantha Toerge will be at the next Atlantic Derm Conference in NY (May, 2019), to officially invite all the attendances to our meeting next year.
II. New Business
A. The membership for Helena Pasieka, M.D., Vishal A. Patel, M.D. and Zetta Fayos, M.D were approved.
B. The membership application for Dr. David Lee was presented and will be voted for approval next meeting.
III. Dr. Anatelli thanked all the residents and faculty at George Washington University for preparing the conference today.
IV. The invited speaker for the meeting was:
• Molly Hinshaw, MD, Associate Professor of Dermatology, The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
• Lecture – Update on Nail Disorders and Their Management
V. The attendants were asked to sign in a CME sheets to receive the 3.0 CME credits for the meeting.
VI. The last meeting of the year was announced. It will be on Tuesday evening, May 21, Howard University Hospital.
