I. Committee Reports
A. Advocacy: Members are receiving a periodic email with the updates from the AAD Advisory Board Committee activities provided by Dr.Kelley Redbord (DC Derm representative)
B. Atlantic Derm Conference 2020, Update:
a. Summary from Dr. Kirkorian
C. Scholarship Program
a. Scholarship Committee 2020-2021: Dr. Maral Skelsey (chair), Rosemarie Liu, Jennifer DeSimone and Benjamin Lockshin.
b. Ten thousand dollars has been ear marked for scholarships and grants. Applications are due by October 1, 2020 and April 1, 2021
D. Dues
a. Please pay your dues on line. Technical difficulties caused some issues with processing of payments. John will reach out to you if you were one of the few that did not process,
II. New Business
A. Dr. Min Ding is being voted on for membership approval and approved.
III. Thank you to all the residents and faculty at Washington Hospital Center for preparing the conference today.
IV. The invited speaker for the meeting is: Christiane Querfeld, MD, PhD, board certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist, Associate Professor, and the Director of the Cutaneous Lymphoma Program at the Toni Stephenson Center, City of Hope and Beckman Research Institute.
