I. Committee Reports
A. Membership survey – results of the survey were discussed by Dr. Redbord. The board will take into consideration members’ preferences in planning furture meetings.
B. Advocacy – Dr. Redbord reviewed advocacy initiative and encourage
member to become more active.
C. Scholarship – the society is currently receiving applications for
scholarships for residents. Residents encouraged to apply. Dr. Ehrlich
chairs the scholarship committee.
II. New Business
A. New membership applications were presented for Jason D. Marquart, M.D., Nicholas Logemann, D.O., Kathy D. Tieu, M.D. and Reena Vaid, M.D., voting into membership will take place at the next meeting.
B. Membership applications were voted on for Adam Friedman, M.D. and Sarah Nakib, M.D.
C. Resident appreciation dinner has been set for – Wednesday April 13, 2016 at Maggiano’s in Chevy Chase. RSVP at washdcderm@msn.com
D. Resident’s please get your presentations ready; prizes will be awarded for the best presentations.
III. Invited Speaker for this morning is Glenn Merlino, Ph.D.
The next DC Dermatology meetings are the Resident Appreciation Dinner scheduled for Wednesday April 13, 2016 at Maggiano’s and Children’s Hospital on Tuesday April 19, 2016.
