Dr. Benjamin Lockshin called the meeting to order at:
I. Minutes from the Tuesday, April 22, 2014 meeting were reviewed
II. Committee Reports
- Advocacy Committee: Please attend the upcoming Legislative Conference September 7-9, 2014 and present a united voice to Congress about dermatology’s most pressing issues.
- Social Committee: Everyone should attend the Argentina-style BBQ Family event Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Cabin John Park in Rockville, MD.
- Website Development Committee: The new website will be ready mid June. Look for a survey to fill out your practice information and hours.
III. Old Business:
- Andrea Morris, M.D. and J. Michael Gagnier, M.D. to be voted on for membership.
IV. New Business
- New membership application was presented for Margaret Kopelman, M.D. Shewill be voted on at the next meeting.
Next meeting scheduled for, June 3rd, 2014 at the NIH (hosted by Suburban
Hospital).
