June 2014 Meeting Minutes

Dr. Nina Fisher called the meeting to order at 6:55PM

I.  Committee Reports

1. Advocacy Committee:  Please attend the upcoming Legislative Conference September 7-9, 2014 and present a united voice to Congress about dermatology’s most pressing issues.
2. Social Committee:  Everyone should attend the Argentina-style BBQ Family event Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Cabin John Park in Rockville, MD.  RSVP to washdcderm@msn.com if you haven’t done so already.
3. Website Development Committee:  The new website will be ready mid June.  Look for a survey to fill out your practice information and hours.

II. Old Business:

1. Margaret Kopelman, M.D. voted on for membership and approved.

III.  New Business

1. Suraj Venna, MD nominated for Secretary-Treasurer and approved.

Family Event Saturday June 21, 2014

Next meeting scheduled for September 2014 at Washington Hospital Center.
