A. Volunteer Nomination: Our society is full of members who promote good will in our communities. Dr. Venna reminded to send member nominations for this recognition which will be given by the DC Derm Society at the end of the year.
B. Dr. Venna announced that the Skin Cancer Foundation will be coming to Washington DC on June 15-16th to perform free skin cancer screening and it is looking for volunteers. They are offering free membership for a year.
C. Dr. Venna thanked John Garza for his service and hard work throughout this year.
D. The incoming Secretary-Treasurer for 2017-2018 will be announced at the end of this month.
III. The invited speakers for the meeting were:

- Robert Colbert – Chief, Pediatric Translational Research Branch, Deputy Clinical Director
IV. The next DC Dermatological Society meeting will take place at Washington Hospital Center after the summer. The incoming president is Dr. Ali Hendi.
